Self-Tape Audition Tips
Practice: Rehearse your lines and the scene multiple times before filming.
Slate: State your name, age, role, and agency (if applicable).
Reader (if applicable): have a reader deliver the other character's lines.
Neutral Background and Clothing: Choose a plain, uncluttered background and basic clothing to avoid distractions.
Good Lighting and Audio: Ensure your video is well-lit and that the audio is clear and easy to hear.
Contact Information: Include your contact information, including your email address and phone number.
Keep your video brief and to the point: focusing on the most important aspects of your performance.
Most importantly - Be Yourself: Let your personality shine through, but also focus on the character you're auditioning for.
